His latest release, SODM Woo x WUDU, marks a pivotal moment in his life. Over the past few years, Woo has been transitioning from street life into a world centered on business, art, and professionalism. Alongside this shift, he recently embraced Islam and has been learning more about the faith.

“Wudu,” the Islamic practice of cleansing before prayer, became a powerful metaphor for his life. The project represents purification removing impurities not only from the body, but from the spirit. It’s a sonic reflection of renewal, discipline, and inner peace.

Creating Without Limits

Woo’s creative process is raw and instinctive. He records by punching in over fresh beats, treating every session like a blank canvas. There’s no rigid formula just emotion, intuition, and expression. Each song is painted in real time, allowing honesty to guide the final product.

From Supporter to Standout.

Interestingly, SODM Woo didn’t originally enter music for himself. He started by supporting friends, helping them take their craft seriously. As time went on and others drifted toward different paths, Woo stayed committed. Music became more than support it became his calling.

Overcoming Challenges

Like many independent artists, Woo has faced serious obstacles: stolen money and equipment, lost music and videos due to malfunctions, financial struggles, physical danger, and constant underestimation. Instead of breaking him, these experiences forged resilience.
